This month we’re talking about Nat Turner by Kyle Baker as part of Black History Month.
This graphic novel fits into what is sometimes referred to as neo-Slave Narratives and is a fascinating read. It’s not for the faint of heart and has some really brutal scenes, but it’s beautifully illustrated and really grabs you by the throat.
